Dear Mr. Harper,

Re: Saskatchewan on Your Mind

In Berwick, Nova Scotia, at the highways infrastructure announcement this morning (Saskatchewan time) as you were taking reporters' questions, you said, "We have to define what victory means in Saskatchewan."

Nice to know that Saskatchewan is on your mind while in Nova Scotia and addressing questions about Afghanistan.

But please permit me to define what victory means in Saskatchewan.

Victory in Saskatchewan means that the federal government acknowledges that the citizens of Saskatchewan are honest individuals who can be trusted to own their firearms in a responsible manner without intrusive federal legislation.

Victory in Saskatchewan means that your Government has repealed the unjust Firearms Act of 1995 and the related Criminal Code provisions that send honest, responsible citizens to prison.

Victory in Saskatchewan means that your Government honours our Right to have 'Armes for their Defense'.

Victory in Saskatchewan means that your Government registers criminals, drug dealers, and gang members who shoot up the cities of Canada - NOT duck and deer hunters, handgun shooters, and firearms collectors.

I believe you will find this answer would also address the reporter's question about the people of Afghanistan who desire peace and personal security.

Thank you for having Saskatchewan on your mind; it is a great Province.
