Refuse to Register Your Firearms
With the deadline for registration of all firearms in Canada now less than five months away, CUFOA President Jim Turnbull called for a national boycott of the Canadian Firearm Center (CFC). Turnbull said the only responsible thing to do is to send the CFC absolutely NOTHING. "Don't send the CFC anything. Don't call them, don't write them, don't even send them an eMail message."
"It is time to show all Canadians what this legislation really is about. The Firearms Act is not about firearm safety. This law is about control. The government plans to take our freedoms away from us. And not just from firearms owners; everyone will be affected by this law. Look at the what's at stake."
By completing a firearm registration certificate you accept Bill C-68. You also willingly accept violation of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom.
By signing your name to the application you agree with the principles of registration. You also voluntarily surrender your liberty.
By mailing your application to the CFC you agree to comply with the law. You also intentionally abandon your freedom.
By displaying a firearm registration certificate you deliberately relinquish your rights.
Compliance with Bill C-68 is NOT the mark of a responsible citizen.
Compliance leads to loss of our Culture.
Compliance leads to loss of our Heritage.
Compliance leads to loss of our Liberty.
Compliance leads to loss of our Freedom.
"I support any law that improves safety. Bill C-68 does nothing to promote safety. I will not participate in a fraud," Turnbull concluded. "We have a choice here. We can surrender our rights and give up our heritage and culture, or we can protect our liberty. For me, the only responsible response is to boycott the CFC. I will not register my firearms."
