NOTICE OF INTENT TO REFUSE A FIREARMS ACQUISITION
CERTIFICATE
(pursuant to Section 106(5) of the Criminal Code of Canada)

Reference is made to your application dated March 18, 1995,
for a Firearms Acquisition Certificate.
This is notice to you, pursuant to Sec. 106(5) of the Criminal
Code, that, in my opinion, it is not desirable in the interests of the
safety of yourself and/or any other person that you acquire a firearm,
on the grounds that you failed to complete an Application for a Firearms
Acquisition Certificate.
This is notice also that, unless within 30 days from the
day on which this notice is received by you, or within such further time
as is, before or after the expiration of that period, allowed by a provincial
court judge, you request in writing to me that I refer my opinion to a
provincial court judge for confirmation or variation thereof, your application
for a Firearms Acquisition Certificate will Be refused.
Attached is a copy of an extract of section 106 and subsections
100(5) to (13) of the Criminal Code.
